Guidelines for Life Cycle Assessment Communication
WSN members have jointly compiled a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Communication Guideline Document that establishes good practice recommendations for presenting LCA-based impact data or using them in environmental claims. This guideline covers all aspects of LCA data/results communication that are not covered by the official EU PEFCR or the ongoing Winter Sports Equipment hard goods PCR project, if and when there are guidelines for communication published from that work. The LCA communication guidelines contain specific recommendations on how to prepare and use LCA results in consumer and other public communications.
The guidelines aim to provide clear and concise guidelines for communicating LCA results for winter sports equipment. By following these guidelines, manufacturers and industry stakeholders can transparently and rigorously present information about the environmental impact of their products.
The following signatory WSN members have contributed to the development of this document, demonstrating their commitment to harmonized and reliable environmental communication practices:
The guideline is always open for new signatories.
